Job Summary North Anna Power Station (Nuclear) located in Mineral, VA is looking for a Mechanical Engineering intern to work in its Component Engineering department for the summer of 2027. Job duties will include: Development of technical documents to evaluate equipment failures and other plant conditions. Evaluation of equipment performance trends including field walkdowns. Support development of major design changes to support long-term station reliability improvements. Support station departments with technical input on a variety of equipment-related concerns. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player Must have strong verbal and written communications skills Education Requirements Must be currently enrolled in an ABET accredited Engineering program (Mechanical preferred) at a four-year college or university Must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2028 or later. What You'll Get Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $29.00 The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
