2. How We Use Your Information

Create and manage your account; match you with relevant job opportunities, contractors, or candidates based on your profile and preferences; communicate with you about your account, matches, and platform updates; process placement agreements and payments; improve our matching algorithms and platform features; and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
Your identity remains anonymous to employers and other users until you explicitly choose to engage. We share anonymized profile data (skills, experience level, location preferences) with potential employers for matching purposes only.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with the service providers below, who help us operate the platform under contractual data-processing terms:
- Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and resume file storage
- Vercel — application hosting and serverless infrastructure
- SendGrid (a Twilio company) — transactional and marketing email delivery, including engagement tracking (opens, clicks, bounces)
- Twilio — SMS verification codes during signup
- Stripe — payment processing for employer placement fees and platform subscriptions
- DocuSign — electronic signature on fee agreements between PGT and employers
- Hunter.io — corporate email-address discovery used for outbound recruiter outreach (does not receive candidate data)
- Google Analytics — aggregate site-usage analytics (no personally identifying information sent)
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our users and the public.
4. Resume Data
Resumes uploaded to Power Grid Talent are encrypted and stored securely. We parse resume data to auto-fill your professional profile and improve matching accuracy. Your resume file is never shared with employers without your explicit consent. You may delete your resume and associated data at any time through your account settings.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
6. Your Rights

We may store these engagement events alongside your email address to attribute them to specific campaigns. Account-related emails (sign-in codes, application confirmations, candidate-employer messages) are transactional and not subject to marketing opt-in.
