Terms of Service
Last updated: April 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Power Grid Talent ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. Power Grid Talent reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Platform Description
Power Grid Talent is a hiring marketplace that connects substation Protection & Control (P&C) engineering professionals with employers, including utilities and EPC firms. The Platform provides profile creation, technical matching, anonymous candidate review, contractor marketplace, and placement services.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, contain fraudulent information, or are used for purposes inconsistent with the Platform's intended use.
4. Engineer and Candidate Terms
By uploading your resume and creating a profile, you represent that all information provided is accurate and current. Your profile will be anonymized and presented to potential employers for matching purposes. Your identity is not revealed to employers until you explicitly consent. You agree not to misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or certifications.
5. Employer Terms
Employers agree to use the Platform solely for legitimate hiring purposes. Placement fees are due upon successful hire of a candidate sourced through Power Grid Talent, as specified in the applicable placement agreement. The 90-day guarantee applies as defined in the signed placement agreement. Employers agree not to contact candidates outside the Platform to circumvent placement fees.
6. Contractor Terms
Contractors using the Platform are independent professionals, not employees of Power Grid Talent. Contractors set their own rates and choose their own projects. Power Grid Talent facilitates connections but is not a party to any contract between a contractor and an employer.
7. Placement Fees
Power Grid Talent charges placement fees to employers upon successful hire. Current fee schedules are published on the Platform and may be updated from time to time. Fee disputes must be raised within 30 days of invoicing. All fees are in U.S. dollars.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and technology on the Platform are owned by Power Grid Talent or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload (such as resumes) but grant Power Grid Talent a limited license to use, process, and display that content for the purposes of operating the Platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
Power Grid Talent provides the Platform "as is" and makes no guarantees about employment outcomes, match quality, or placement success. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Power Grid Talent is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas.
